Price & packages

How do we get pricing and arrange a demonstration?+
Pricing is listed on the pricing page, and a quotation can be requested through the quotation form. Demonstrations are arranged on site or online, and the team will walk your committee through the modules relevant to your temple.

Modules

Can we start with a few modules and add more later?+
Yes. Most temples begin with the POS counter and donation management, then add the self-service kiosk, the Vilakku Vending Machine, the devotee mobile app or the integrated accounting system as they are ready. Modules share one database, so nothing needs rebuilding when you expand.
Do you supply the hardware as well as the software?+
Yes. POS terminals, thermal printers, self-service kiosks and Vilakku Vending Machines are supplied and installed as part of the package, so the temple deals with one party for the whole setup.
Can the system be adapted to our temple's own practices?+
Yes. Service names, pooja types, rate cards, receipt formats, ubayam categories and festival calendars are all configured to your temple rather than imposed as fixed defaults.

Support & security

What ongoing support is available after going live?+
Support covers system issues, configuration changes and hardware faults, reachable by phone, email and WhatsApp.
Is the system cloud based, or installed at the temple?+
Data is held online with automatic backup, while counter and kiosk devices continue to operate offline and sync when the connection returns.
Can our existing records be migrated across?+
Yes. Devotee records, donation history, service lists and account balances can be imported from spreadsheets or an existing system. Records held only in manual registers need to be prepared as a data file first, and the team can advise on the format.
Who owns the temple data, and how is it protected?+
The temple owns its data. Access is controlled by role, so counter staff, administrators and trustees each see only what their role permits, and records are encrypted in storage with automatic backup.

Kiosk

How does a self-service kiosk improve temple operations?+
It reduces queues, automates ticketing, and improves donation processing with faster, contactless service.

Others

What is Temple Management Software by Grasp?+
Temple Management Software by Grasp is a complete digital platform for religious institutions, covering archanai and pooja bookings, donations, annadhanam, hall reservations, prasadam sales, inventory, accounting and devotee communication. It brings counter operations, self-service and back office administration into one system.
Which languages does the system support?+
Devotee facing screens, including the self-service kiosk and the mobile app, run in multiple languages and can be set to suit the temple community. Additional language support can be added where required.
Who uses the system, and how long has it been running?+
Grasp Software Solutions has been digitising temples since 2015. The system is in use at 90 or more religious institutions across Malaysia, Singapore, India and the USA, including Hindu temples, Sikh gurdwaras, Buddhist temples, Chinese temples and other religious centres.
Is the system suitable for a small temple, or only for large institutions?+
Both. The platform is modular, so a small village temple can start with counter billing and donations alone, while a large institution can run the full set of modules across multiple counters and locations. The configuration is matched to the size and daily footfall of the temple.
How long does implementation take?+
Timelines depend on the number of modules, the hardware involved and how much existing data needs to be brought across.
What does onboarding and staff training involve?+
Onboarding covers system configuration for your services and rates, hardware installation, and live training for counter staff and administrators. Video tutorials are provided so new volunteers can be brought up to speed later without a fresh session.
Which countries do you supply and support?+
Malaysia, Singapore, India and the USA are currently served, with offices in Kuala Lumpur and Madurai. Enquiries from other countries are welcome and are handled case by case.
